Pregnant Snooki Will Appear in Season 6 of Jersey Shore

MTV confirmed that Snooki will be on Jersey Shore season 6, "MTV gets ready for fist pumps and baby bumps," the statement begins, adding that production is set to start this summer at the infamous abode in Seaside Heights, NJ. "America's favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory . . .as their lives outside the "Shore" take off in exciting new directions."

It's doubtful that  Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 22, will actually live with her six pals in the house. A source tells Us Weekly: "She's not going to be staying in the house -- no way." 

 "While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same," MTV added.

"If anything, I'll visit the shore," Snooki told Us. "I'm not living in that house pregnant. I don't want to be one of those moms who's pregnant in a club. It's disgusting."

Well, I definitely agree with her on that. Should be an interesting season.

Snooki Keeps it Classy, Calls Herself a MILF

Or should I say...klassy?

Speaking on Jersey Shore After House following the season five finale of the show last night, Snooki said: 'I'm only 24 so it happened kind of quick. But it's better because now I can be a MILF (mother I'd like to f***).'

And her castmate Ronnie Magro said Snooki has settled down a lot since she settled down with Jionni.

He said: 'It's a different Snooki. She's doing really good. She's not drinking. She's got her act together and I'm really happy for her.

'Over night she's like this wild, crazy Snooki and now she's pregnant and engaged and growing up.'

Well, I guess I shouldn't expect any less from Snooks, and I'm glad that she seems to be settling down. 

Snooki is Pregnant

Oh God, it's true. Well, we all knew it anyway. Hollywood can never keep a secret. 

She tells the magazine: 'I have different priorities now. I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready.'

Jionni added: 'We are not going to screw this up.'

Snooki also said she won't be filming any more Jersey Shore this summer, adding: 'If anything, I’ll visit the shore.

'I’m not living in that house being pregnant. I don’t want to be one of those moms who’s pregnant in a club. It’s disgusting.'

An MTV spokesperson told People.com that no decision has been made as yet about a sixth season of the show.

The spokesperson said: 'We wish Nicole a healthy and happy pregnancy and congratulate her on her engagement. 

'We support her as she starts this new chapter of her life.'

Snooki revealed to the magazine that she and Jionni first found out she was expecting just after New Year's Eve.

And the pretty brunette said she was terrified that her consumption of alcohol might have harmed the baby.

Asked what her first thought was after finding out she was pregnant, Snook replied: '"S**t, I've been drinking!" 

'I was worried. It was New Year's Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy.'

The reality TV star also explained the reasons behind keeping the pregnancy a secret, despite months of speculation.

She said: 'I wanted to make sure the baby is OK. Things can go wrong, like a miscarriage. It was my business, and I wasn’t ready to tell.'

Ok, first of all, it frightens me a bit that we are due at the same time, and that I found out on New Year's Day. I prefer to have as little in common with Snooki as possible. However, I commend her for settling down and being responsible. A baby can change everything for the better. I also respect her decision to not tell everyone right away. Everyone deserves that privacy. Good luck Snooki and congrats. 

Is Snooki Pregnant!?!?!?!

Please God no. Just....no. Snooki and her boyfriend, Jionni LaVall are reportedly expecting a baby in September. Perhaps I should stop being such a cynic and hope that if she is pregnant, she will be forced to calm down and become an adult. I have known quite a few wild women who did a 180 once becoming pregnant. This is great timing for her career in that Jersey Shore is winding down, and Hollywood loves pregnancy. There is much money to be made here. Magazine covers and exclusives, maternity line, book about how pregnancy put her on the straight and narrow, etc. I wish her the best, but have to wonder... how short and orange will this baby be?
