Gabriel Aubry put on a brave face as he stepped out with daughter Nahla in LA yesterday.
The 36-year-old clutched the little girl tightly during their shopping trip to a Barnes & Noble store at The Grove shopping centre. Meanwhile, the model's Oscar-winning ex has been spotted scouting schools with fiance Olivier Martinez in Paris.
It is the latest headache for Aubry in his ongoing battle with Berry. However, he is now able to see his daughter unsupervised after a child endangerment case against him was dropped.
There had been concern about Aubry's parenting after the nanny who worked for him and Berry alleged he pushed her while she was holding Nahla.
However, a source recently told RadarOnline: 'CPS concluded that Gabriel has done absolutely nothing ever to endanger the welfare of Nahla. The report also recommends that Gabriel no longer be required to have supervised visitation.'
Last month Berry asked a judge for permission to move from Los Angeles to Martinez’s native France, amid fears for her and Nahla's safety following a recent encounter with an alleged stalker who was caught trespassing on her property on multiple occasions.
Aubry allegedly opposed the relocation and now fears Berry is 'scheming' to have their daughter adopted by Martinez.
RadarOnline.com recently reported a source close to the Canadian model as saying: 'Gabriel fears that Halle's ultimate plan is to get him out of his daughter's life, permanently.'
Planning on a move? Recently engaged Berry and Martinez were seen out and about in Paris earlier this week
'He believes the plan is for Halle to move to France with Nahla and then have Olivier adopt her as his own. She wants a 'fresh start' apparently.
The Oscar-winning actress has since stepped up her legal battle by axing Neal Hersh for famed family lawyer Stephen Kolodny, according to TMZ.
