Jessica has just announced that she is writing a book, titled The Honest Life, about her mission to create a non-toxic life for her family.
The actress-turned-entrepreneur pushed her youngest daughter, eight months, around the store while she stocked up on healthy treats.
She even managed to squeeze in a bit of self-promotion as she showed off her T-shirt with the name of her non-toxic cleaning product line, Honest.
In her book, which will be released early next year, Alba will share the secrets behind her natural, healthy parenting skills and focus on how she crafted a healthier and safer start for her two daughters.
The guidebook will dole out tips and tricks on raising a family in a safe, chemical-free environment, everything from DIY family projects using only pure and inexpensive material to making ‘homemade’ beauty fixes.
'I’m not extreme,' Alba said. 'This book is for people who are in the middle but want to create a healthier life, like me.'
It will also feature some of the star’s family recipes.
'Honor’s favorite meatball recipe will be in there,' she said. 'And I always hide flax seeds in everything.'
But while Alba may have succeeded in getting her children to eat greens, Haven seemed to prefer chewing the straps of the seat in the trolly.
Alba, 33, also has daughter Honor Marie, four, with husband Cash Warren.
