Tony Romo & Wife Give Birth to Baby Boy Hawkins Crawford Romo

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is a father.
His wife, Candice, gave birth to the couple's first child yesterday, a boy they named Hawkins Crawford Romo.
Crawford is Candice's maiden name, but they haven't explained the story behind Hawkins just yet.
Proud parents: Tony Romo and Candice Crawford have welcomed their first child, a boy, into the world

It's an early birthday present for Romo, who turns 32 later this month.
This also means that Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford, Candice's sister, is now an an uncle.

A post on the Dallas Cowboys page read: 'Congratulations to Tony Romo, proud papa of Hawkins Crawford Romo, born yesterday at 5:30pm. 8 lbs 8 oz.'
He measured 19 3/4 inches long according to ESPN.
The team site reports that mother and son are doing well.
And the proud father is probably feeling pretty chipper, too.
'He's over-the-moon excited about it,' Chace Crawford told Us Weekly just a few weeks ago.
'He's just such a wonderful person...He was born ready to have a family, you know what I mean? So it makes perfect sense.'
Romo and Crawford married last May and revealed they were expecting in October.

Just days afterwards, Romo's ex Jessica Simpson confirmed that she too was pregnant, after sporting a large bump for weeks.
Jessica and Tony split in 2009, she was said to be devastated at the time.
He ended their year and a half long relationship on the eve of the star's 29th birthday.
