An American woman has given birth to 15 babies however only four of the children are her own.
Meredith Olafson, a 47-year-old woman from North Dakota, has acted as a surrogate mother for the past 13 years, producing 11 children for other parents.
According to Jay, her husband, the super surrogate is driven by the sad stories she hears about other couples who are not able to conceive. Olafson said that she 'never went into this to make money.'
While acting as a gestational carrier, which is a surrogate who has no biological link to the babies she produces for others because she does not provide her own egg and uterus, Olafson has given birth to two sets of triplets, one set of twins and three single babies as well as her own four children.
Olafson gave birth to a baby girl almost two weeks ago, who went to a South Dakota couple. It was her sixth pregnancy.
Olafson is often approached by couples rather than seeking them out herself.
Prior to the recent baby’s arrival, she said to the Today show: 'I am retiring after this one, this uterus is closing shop.'
But her family has said it is not the first time the super surrogate has expressed a desire to stop. Olafson's unusual road to delivery also contributes to her decision to serve as a surrogate mother.
She has never experienced morning sickness throughout her pregnancies, only puts on a minimal amount of weight, and usually works right up until the day she delivers the child.
But the most surprisingly and enviable part of all? Olafson's delivery time has been consistently short.

'My longest was my oldest daughter,' Olafson said. 'She took me an hour and 15-minutes to deliver. My second daughter took me 30-minutes and the last two took me 20-minutes.'
Surrogate mothers can fetch up to $250,000 per child, however, Olafson said she has earned far more modest payments for her incredible work.
'I would be a millionaire if I lived on the east coast [of America],' she said.
She added that she found joy in other couple's happiness.
'When you see those parent's faces, when they see that ultrasound for the first time and they see that heart beat beating, or they get to hear that heartbeat, that's priceless right there.'
Dan and Jody Wegges are just one of the couples who have used Olafson for her surrogacy services.
The couple now have a set of triplets who are 12-years-old.
Wegges said of Olafson: 'I love her. I just… there's not words to express how I feel about her.'
