Tammy Lynn Michaels Admits To Burning Child With Cigarette

Opened her heart: Tammy Lynn Michaels admitted she burnt her son with a cigarette on her blog

Tammy Lynn Michaels has publicly admitted burning five-year-old son Miller with a cigarette.
In a poem she published on her internet blog yesterday, she says the accident happened despite her warning her children 'you guys can't be up against me for a few minutes,' while she enjoyed a puff. How about you just don't smoke around your kids? Or how about you just quit????? Weak excuse, I'm afraid.

She wrote: 'One second I was watching a kid chase a dog, the next second a kid was jumping me from behind.
'How come i was the only one that hollered?
'That kid has insane pain tolerance, his tender flesh to the nicotine pencil on fire.
'So fast, so quick, he insisted it didn't hurt.'

More details also emerged on RadarOnline about legal documents filed by Melissa, who does not want to give her former lover any extra money in monthly child support payments, where she brings up the incident.
It said: 'Respondent [Tammy Lynn Michaels] admitted to Petitioner [Melissa] in August of 2011 that she smokes cigarettes and that she accidentally burned Miller when she dropped a cigarette on him.
'This is an unnecessary hazard for the children to be exposed to and exposure to secondhand smoke is detrimental to the children's health.'

The Never Enough rocker wants a judge to ban both Michaels and herself from smoking around the children so that it won't happen again.

The 50-year-old has also claimed the L Word actress is 'vindictive and angry,' and will not accept an equal custody deal because she continues to accuse the singer of not 'being maternal.'
It had previously emerged the papers also include a nasty email in which Tammy sent her, where she slams the star.
It says: 'You have to support so many households because YOU BROKE SO MANY HOUSEHOLDS, silly. If you had decided to have one ounce of integrity/honesty as a person or partner, you would NOT be in this predicament. Think about it.'
Another email sent from Michaels is also highlighted in the documents.
The occasional actress writes: 'They aren't leaving my care while you are on the road - a completely inappropriate place for 3-year-olds - not to mention you can't track them, have no child care, and they were bit by dogs in the house last time you had them.'
Since their split two years ago Etheridge has been paying her former girlfriend $23,000 a month in partner and child support.
It's war: The war of words between Etheridge and her former girlfriend Tammy Lynn Michaels is raging on

However Michaels yesterday filed papers against the rock singer which demand she receive more money, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The former actress claims her famous ex earns roughly $177,882.00 a month.
She states she grew accustomed to living an extravagant lifestyle during their long-term relationship and thus $23k a month - the equivalent of nearly £14,500 - is not enough for her to live on.
Actress Michaels, 37, who has also appeared on Popular , apparently claims she has ‘virtually no savings’ and would need ‘extensive retraining’ if she were to attempt to get a job again.

She gave birth to the twins via an anonymous sperm donor in 2006 and also claims Etheridge is attempting to turn the five-year-olds against her, stating that they have grown emotionally distant from her.
Michaels goes on to allege that Etheridge swears in front of Johnnie and Miller and refuses to get them vaccinated.
The mudslinging is marked by a settlement conference to hash out support and custody issues, which is set to occur next month.

It has also been reported that on top of everything else, Michaels is demanding Etheridge pay her legal bills, which allegedly total $120,000.
The pair, who are doyens of the Hollywood lesbian community, had a commitment ceremony in 2003 which was featured on ABC's InStyle Celebrity Weddings.
They also registered as legal domestic partners in the state of California.
There were reports they tried to legally marry in 2008 - during the time when same-sex marriages were permitted in California - but they missed the window.
